Benešov Square

size: 150 m2
team: PLURAL / Martin Jančok, Michal Janák, Eva Štrocholcová, Ruslan Dimov
role: architect

Two main objectives were addressed in this project - to provide a suitable comfort for everyday use of a town square and at the same time to enable occasional spatially demanding public programme. The surface of the square is conceived as a vast and complex patchwork of organizing elements and patterns. A system becomes an ornament.
