Marketing campaign Close To The Industry demonstrates how closely Hyper Island connects its students to the professional world. 

The project features two shorts aimed at raising awareness, and prototype for longer organic content. In a witty way, “The Industry” is personified as a character in a black tie and coat who approaches two Hyper Island students and gets humorously, uncomfortably close. These awkward scenarios illustrate how Hyper Island is “Close to the Industry.” 

By associating an emotion with an unfavorable connotation, the campaign creates memorable impressions. Most people easily recall the last time their partner frustrated them, yet how many can quickly remember the last time they made them truly happy?
