Fjölebro is a new 'garden city' district inspired by the small scale neighbourhoods surrounded by compact green farms that could often be found in Japan.
The orientation of the buildings within the plot breathes life into the local street thanks to the entrances to the ground floor apartments. At the same time it allows to form a common stretched courtyard that will, with its playful shapes and great variety, become a hub for a rich community. Southern access balconies just become the natural extension of lively green space.
